Macabre Museum — from indie developer Different Monster — is an upcoming horror-themed title that looks perfect for gamers and horror fans alike.

With four-player co-op mode, you can team up with friends to face each sinister trial. But beware… Macabre Museum is not for the faint of heart (especially based on what’s shown in the announcement trailer).

From Ancient Egypt to Historic Mesoamerica and beyond, Macabre Museum will take players through various trials and challenges as they explore dark and spooky locations. With puzzles to solve and hordes of terrifying creatures lurking around every corner, you’ll need to use your wits and weapons to survive this fright-filled adventure.

“We’ve been really inspired by nostalgic movies and TV shows, and that feeling you get when walking around a museum and just imagining what would happen if the mummy in the display case suddenly woke up,” stated Different Monster’s Creative Director. “We’re very excited to announce Macabre Museum and share what we’ve been working on with the gaming community. This announcement trailer is just the start, and we can’t wait to show everyone more soon!”

Macabre Museum doesn’t have a release date yet, but the game can now be wishlisted on Steam.
