Inspired by 90’s Japanese animation, pop art, and 80’s/90’s New Retro culture, PopSlinger is a narrative-focused musical shooter where you take on invaders from another dimension using soda-powered guns. The charming visuals and incredible sound design are reason enough to check this one out this week. PopSlinger is now available on Nintendo Switch.
Reverie Knights Tactics – from developer 40 Giants Entertainment – might be the most beautiful game releasing this week. The turn-based tactical RPG with strategic battles in isometric grids features gorgeous looking hand-drawn visuals and a deep storyline with every move you make playing a part in the final outcome. Reverie Knights Tactics is now available on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and is currently on sale for 15%-off.
Void Slayer – from developer Madmind Studio: After hours – puts a unique spin on the first-person shooter genre by making the arena you’re fighting in also your health – each hit of damage you take will also take away some of your fighting space. Using your weaponized gloves, you’ll take on hordes of enemies and increase your power as you fight to avoid falling into the Void. Void Slayer is now available on PC via Steam and is currently on sale for 10%-off.
