Grapple Dog (PC, Switch)

Grapple Dog – from developer Medallion Games – is the pick for indie game of the week. 2D pixelated platforming, hilarious humor, and a fun story await in this adventure that received GamingPizza’s first perfect score in our review of the game. Even better is the game’s speedrunning contest that is running through the end of the month, featuring a $3,000 prize pool! Grapple Dog is now available on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. The game is currently 10%-off the regular price on Steam.

Isle of Jura (PC)

Your cozy game of the week comes courtesy of developer and publisher EM Games. Isle of Jura is a life simulator where you take a fishing trip to the remote island of Jura. There, you’ll meet the locals, catch different species of fish, and explore the island that has secrets of its own. Isle of Jura is available now for PC via Steam. The game is also currently 10%-off the regular price.

Kardboard Kings: Card Shop Simulator (PC)

Trading card games (and digital trading card games) continue to be all the rage. Kardboard Kings: Card Shop Simulator – from developers Henry’s House, Oscar Brittain, and Rob Gross – puts the experience of running your own trading card business right in the palm of your hands. In the game, you’ll run your own card shop, buying cards low and selling high to your customers… or keeping them for your own collection. You’re even able to decorate the look and feel of your shop! Kardboard Kings: Card Shop Simulator is available now for PC via Steam. The game is also currently 10%-off the regular price.

Finally, here are a few other indie games that are releasing in Early Access or are making their debut on new platforms:
