Toplitz Productions and Superkami Games have announced Sengoku Dynasty, the spiritual successor to the wildly successful Medieval Dynasty.

Sengoku Dynasty is a brand-new adventure set in war-torn Japan, putting players in the role of a simple peasant and tasking them with building their legacy and empire as they become a legend.

Sengoku Dynasty will feature a unique co-op mode for up to four players – a first for the Dynasty franchise – allowing players to team up to battle enemies and defeat challenges. Even better is the fact that you'll be able to choose from different character classes, allowing you and your party to be well-rounded. The game focuses on historically accuracy and faithfully recreating Feudal Japan as you trade, forge romances, start a family, build a community, and manage your villagers, all while expanding your empire and defending it from enemies.

Additional key features of Sengoku Dynasty include:

  • Survival Village Builder: Build a beautiful village, expand it into a thriving city, and enjoy the feeling when new inhabitants populate your town. Build more towns and create a vibrant community all over the valley.

  • Sandbox Mode Or Story Mode: Choose your own playstyle. Follow the captivating story that grips you from the very beginning or explore an open world that allows you to unleash your creativity.

  • Deep Crafting And Building Mechanics: Craft tools, weapons, meals, medicine, and cultivate land. Work on Special Projects that will change the world around you.

  • Melee And Ranged Weaponry: Protect your village and your beloved ones: study weaponry, craft your weapons and learn how to use them. From simple wooden spears to unique Japanese weapons, including bows and artillery.

Sengoku Dynasty is slated to be released next year on PC via Steam Early Access.
