Recompile Looks Like A Retrowave Dream In New Featurette
Recompile – an upcoming Metroidvania hacking adventure from indie developer Phigames – shows off exactly what players can expect to encounter when the game launches later this year.
In Recompile, you'll take on the role of an unwanted presence within the atmospheric 3D world of a Mainframe, which brings with it combat, 3D platforming, super-powers and special abilities, as well as a logic-based hacking mechanic that is dictated by the surrounding environment – which gives off plenty of nostalgic retrowave vibes.
Recompile will launch on August 19 for PS5, Xbox Series XIS, and PC.
