Available today on PC, developer Thunkd's The Magnificent Trufflepigs features a romantic narrative while players roam the English countryside unearthing buried treasure through the use of a metal detector. Arthur Darvill (Doctor Who, Broadchurch) takes on the role of Adam, a man who returns to his childhood village to help a woman named Beth find local buried treasure.
“The Magnificent Trufflepigs encapsulates Thunkd's mission to deliver games that tell compelling, human-shaped stories that are also evening-sized so that they can fit into busy lifestyles,” said Thunkd’s director Andrew Crawshaw in a press release.
“This game is a meditation on life, the paths we take, and the people who make us what we are,” said Clayton Neuman, VP of Games for the game's publisher, AMC Networks. “AMC Games is honored to have played a part in bringing Andrew’s vision to the surface, and we can’t wait for players to dig in.” The Magnificent Trufflepigs is now available on PC via Steam.
