Hollowbody – from indie developer and publisher Headware Games — is a classic survival horror gameplay inspired by early 2000s horror titles.

The game is a cinematic blend of dynamic and fixed camera angles, with you playing as Mica as you solve environmental puzzles, manage your limited resources, and fight for your life as you try to find a way to escape the horrors of your new reality.

Limited combat also awaits, with a focus on narrative and exploration that features multiple endings. There is an emphasis on strong world-building set in a dystopian near-future, while the pacing of the game’s save points ensures tension is maintained whilst respecting the player’s time. There are also accessibility options to aid players who prefer exploration over combat, as well as new game+ features.

Hollowbody aims to be a great example of a well-done horror game that balances story, gameplay, and atmosphere perfectly. Although no release date has been confirmed yet, this is one PC game that every old-school horror fan should definitely keep an eye on.
