Total Mayhem Games has announced that the next installment in its co-op puzzle adventure series, We Were Here, will be making its way into adventurers’ hands later this year. No firm release date has been revealed for the game – which is titled We Were Here Forever – but the launch window is slated to take place sometime in Q4 2021, with the game releasing on PC via Steam, along with PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

As the largest game in the series thus far, We Were Here Forever will put players back within the walls of Castle Black as they take on new cooperative puzzles and challenges through the use of their walkie-talkies, as communication and observation are the backbone of the We Were Here franchise’s gameplay.

Managing Director Lucia de Visser says: “Our goal for We Were Here Forever is

to further refine the cooperative gameplay people love so much from the

series, designed for a new generation of hardware with a more immersive,

darker, livelier Castle Rock. We Were Here Forever is a big step up for the

series. Furthermore, this game will bring some new insights on the

mystery of Castle Rock. One cannot help but wonder what happened to

those explorers who got left behind…”

We Were Here Forever can be wishlisted right now on Steam and the PlayStation Store.
